The Barn Live will be CLOSED on Saturday, August 23. Why? Because Mara – yes, that Mara – has pulled the plug on the amps for once . He’s staging his own rebellion and finally cashing in a “Night Off From Guitars” voucher (which, frankly, we thought expired in 2019).

After weeks of toe-tapping, drink-pouring, and pretending to know every band’s setlist by heart (he doesn’t, he just nods a lot), the man needs some peace and quiet. And by peace and quiet, we mean not hearing Highway to Hell for the 236th time this year.

But fear not, dear rockers and rollers — the torch is being passed (possibly reluctantly) to his daughter Jill, who’s been training for this moment for week. From birth she was raised on a strict diet of pub food and power ballads. Some say her first words were “Free Entry Before 8pm”... Others say she was born holding a microphone. Either way — she’s in charge of this private function, and she’s ready to show the family who's boss (just don’t touch the mixer, Jill).
